Dr. Crane is a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with over 15 years of experience treating patients in Kirkwood and throughout the St. Louis area. Dr. Crane runs a practice of high integrity, focusing on each patient’s plan back to health. He is committed to ensuring each person can return to doing the things they love.

When he isn’t working, traveling or spending time with his family, you can find him on the golf course or working on his next opportunity to ski in Colorado. He lives in suburban Saint Louis with three teenage sons, his wife and their dog, Winston.

Dr. Crane is a wonderful Dr. He is very professional and very good at what he does. His staff is very helpful as well. Dr. Crane has given me my life back after surgery. I feel great, better than anticipated before surgery. Dr. Crane fused L3, L4, L5 with no hesitation and did a super job. I'm so very glad I trusted Dr. Crane with my back surgery. I would recommend anybody that has back and leg pain to see Dr. Crane for help.

Dr. Benjamin Crane and his staff took great care of me. I had to have surgery on C5-6 C6-7 of my spine. I went into their office very scared but Dr. Crane and his nurse Jane put me at easy. I had a list of questions but before I could even ask they had already answered all of them. Told me to call any time to ask any other questions. Jane was fantastic! Also want to mention the surgery center was also a great experience. From nurses to anesthesiologist. Surgery was much easier than expected. Hardest part for me was to take it easy. Dr. Crane made a hard surgery easy.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Crane! He help me identify my pain and then strategize how I could improve my situation through exercise. It worked. It’s not often you meet a doctor that helps you help yourself and Dr. Crane was that kind of doctor. He is patient, focused, and trustworthy.

Dr. Crane is awesome! He has a fabulous staff and he has a great bedside manner. I have sent some of my friends to him for their spine issues and they have been pleased with his work also. Highly recommend Dr. CRANE!!

Dr Crane fused my back in 2016. No problem with my surgery but I was still in pain. He took the time and energy to find my problem. Which was a broken replacement hip. Got me to a wonderful doctor. Talked to the hip doctor and got me ready for another surgery. He went far beyond his duty to keep me from any pain. To me he is the perfect doctor. 5 years pain free

He's the best doctor I have ever known !!! Very patient oriented. He did my back surgery and now I am back to myself. I would not change anything I am/will always be grateful for what her did for me!!! He's all about his patients and his work! Thank you so much Dr. Crane for being AMAZING!
